Nicky, 22, graduated from the Steps vocational programme in 2018, and started working in administration at El Mercado Bangkok. He also works in administration for Steps. Nicky shares his experience in the video above, or you can read about it below.

What do you do at work?

I did office assistance and stuff like admin work and use letter interviews and more. El mercado I did the data entry, checking receipt and more.
What do you like about your jobs?
I like about my job is office environment.

I feel fresh and cold.
What do you find hard about these jobs?
Communication is very hard.
And how have you solved the problem?
I email to get more work.

They helped a lot.

I have met a lot of people at work.

Yes, sometimes.
How did the training at steps help you get ready for your job at El mercado?
I get interviews and applying a job
What have you learned in your job at El mercado?
I’ve learned about checking the receipt and making the data entry like filling the tax form.
What is your hope for the future?
My future is being an administrator.
