Planning an inclusive event? Here’s your go-to guide for creating diversity and accessibility, applicable to every event and occasion.

  1. Assemble a Diverse Team: Form a planning team representing various backgrounds and perspectives. Ensure the community’s voice is heard at every step.
  2. Pledge Campaign: Encourage pledges for ongoing commitments to inclusion. Share these pledges on social media, turning words into action.
  3. Shared Meals and Discussions: Unite attendees over meals to discuss what inclusivity means to each person. Invite individuals with disabilities or local government members to share insights. Opt for inclusive supply chains when ordering food.
  4. Engage a Guest Speaker: Invest in a speaker who can shed light on disability, valuing their time and expertise.
  5. Discussion Forums: For workplaces, host forums to brainstorm inclusive ideas for a disability-friendly environment.
