It’s that time of year again where we celebrate the release of our impact report! This is our way of keeping track of progress of our mission to create a truly inclusive society and note our biggest wins.
Our 2022 impact report tracks how the Steps movement is growing day by day. This was a year of major new partnerships and progress for our trainees.
Headlines include:
We provided 149,000 hours of training, more than any other year in Steps’ history
- We worked with IKEA on a new model for an Inclusive Office
- We partnered with Sasin school of management to start planning a new research centre which will specifically look at neurodiversity in the workplace
- Three of our trainees started internships, a major step on the road to long term, sustainable employment

We love pulling together this report as it allows us to revisit all our trainees have achieved over the past year. Trainee Henry told us:
“I love working at Steps because I enjoy being active, making drinks and chatting with customers. Also making new relationships with people. By going to Steps I would like to develop my social and life skills to make me a more rounded and better person.”
As a Steps supporter we could not have done any of this without you.
Thanks so much for being with us on this journey towards a world where employment is for everyone. The more you drink coffee with us, outsource to our business service centre, support us through events and catering, and consult with us on inclusion, the more we can achieve. 2023 will be bigger and better than ever.
